Hey Everyone!!

Into week 1 of the year and I’m already exhausted. I think I may have worked too hard during Christmas but for whatever reason, I don’t feel fresh. I’ve definitely taken on way too many projects, but I’m hoping they quieten down soon enough. Does anyone else feel the same this early in 2022? If so, you’re not alone!

Meanwhile…. Money and Prizes!!

Winners of the 2021 Survey!

During the last quarter of 2021, we asked our subscribers to complete a survey so that we could compile the results and create our survey of the freelance writing industry in 2021. We’ve had amazing feedback and are currently typing away trying to get the report out as soon as possible.

As a thank you — everyone who completed the survey will be featured at the back of the survey but also, we’re proud to announce 3 winners who’ll win $50 each! In no particular order, we used the random number generator to select 3 writers who completed the survey:

- Number 36: Deanna Fox from Albany!

- Number 82: Ismail Malik from Sialkot!

- Number 72: Ifeanyu from Abuja!

Congratulations!!! We’ll be in touch with you and to send across your winnings :)

For everyone else, hold tight and the survey will be out soon enough!

Note: As always — if you think we’re doing a good job then we’d appreciate any support! We’re trying to forge a new path and find a better way for writers to get paid, so if you want to help us on our journey, then get in touch! Also please support the newsletter!

Calls to Pitch

I try to ensure all the positions are well-paid, and if not, they’re helpful in some other way. Our readership varies from new writers to established writers, so some jobs are better for others. Either way, if you have any questions, get in touch with me or the employer, see how you can help, and grow your network! I try to only show remote jobs, but sometimes allow odd interesting jobs to pass through.
